Laboratory presses for rubber, polymer and composite materials
Elastocon offers laboratory presses from Fontijne Presses and Montech for quality control and R&D support in the rubber, polymer and composite industries.
LabManual 50 is a manually operated hydraulic laboratory press for rubber and polymer materials, where the number of samples to be processed is moderate. It can be used for pressing needs up to 50 kN at +200 °C, but also allows the use of low closing forces.
LabManual 300 is a manually operated hydraulic laboratory press for rubber and polymer materials, where the number of samples to be processed is moderate. It can be used for pressing needs up to 300 kN at +300 °C, but also allows the use of low closing forces.
Fontijne Presses’ benchtop LabTop series – available with a press range of 150 or 300 kN – is an automated hydraulic laboratory press, which combines the modest footprint of our manually operated LabManual machines with the automated ProView control system that is used in our LabEcon and LabPro series.
Fontijne Presses’ floor standing LabEcon – a series available with a press range of 300, 600 or 1000 kN – is an automated hydraulic laboratory press, which incorporates many features and qualities of the top-of-the-line LabPro series.
LabVac is a series of laboratory hot platen presses that can create a vacuum condition inside the press chamber, which can prevent oxidation or contamination of the material by oxygen or other gases. A vacuum condition can also enhance the bonding and curing of the material, resulting in higher quality specimens.
Fontijne Presses’ LabPro is a series of highly customizable state-of-the-art laboratory presses. LabPro presses are known for their exquisite and consistent pressing quality and are used in demanding laboratory environments and R&D facilities around the world.
The MonTech VP 3000 is a small tabletop press with a closing force of 40 kN, which is used for fast and easy moulding, curing and preparation of rubber samples.
