ISO 188 – Accelerated ageing on rubbers and elastomers

Rubber materials can be tested with accelerated ageing to investigate natural ageing in a shorter time. Heat resistance focus on investigating the rubber performance for the intended application. This video describes the methodology of testing rubber according to ISO 188.

ISO 815-1, method A – Determination of compression set

Determination of the compression set is an easy way to analyse the recovery after compression of vulcanized or thermoplastic rubbers according to ISO 815-1, method A.
