We will be presenting Roaches’ innovative solutions designed to streamline your laboratory testing and deliver precise, objective data. Some examples are:
- Martindale AXYZ maximises your textile abrasion and pilling tests, and run your tests for longer, with less interruptions. See the Martindale AXYZ in action at our exhibition stand.
- Sentire provides an objective and universal language for fabric handle, empowering consistent quality control through precise and reliable material specifications.
- Crocktec is a crockmeter which is used to determine colour fastness to rubbing (crocking). Crocktec is the smart choice for textile labs with limited workspace, as it is over 50 % smaller and lighter than other crocking testers.
- Opti-Pill is a tester for accurate determination of surface fuzzing, snagging and pilling test methods, using a rotating pilling box apparatus, in accordance with ISO 12945-1.
- Durawash and Washtec offer two solutions for testing colour fastness to washing.

Testing of colour fastness to light and weathering resistance
In addition, we offer equipment for accelerated weather and lightfastness testing of textiles from the world-leading manufacturer Q-Lab. This type of testing is suitable for a wide range of textile applications, such as apparel, home textiles, geotextiles, textiles for military and industrial use, and much more.
Common tests for lightfastness and colour fastness to artificial light (ISO 105-B02, for example) for apparel and design fabrics are performed in Q-SUN xenon test chambers, recognized by all major international standards organizations, including ISO and AATCC.
For textiles and fabrics designed for long-duration outdoor use, both the Q-SUN xenon test chamber and QUV accelerated weathering tester are good choices for simulating outdoor conditions in the laboratory.
