Plastic quality assurance
identiPol offers a simple to use and affordable quality assurance instrument that identifies and assesses the quality of mouldable thermoplastics. The instrument is small and compact but measures the same physical parameters as the research and development (DMA and DSC) from which its technology is derived.

The identiPol has been developed by Lacerta Technology, specialists in Thermal Analytical Technologies. Lacerta Technology, established in 2003, offer extensive experience in the design of thermal analysis instrumentation.
The company have designed heating and cooling systems that are fitted to several analytical instrumentation and are amongst the most efficient globally. Lacerta have also developed Dynamic Mechanical Analysers (DMA), that are now sold world-wide by leading Thermal Analysis companies.
Lacerta's knowledge and experience with polymers and their properties lead them to develop the identiPol.

Fire testing systems, thermal conductivity measuring devices and hotbox test stations
NETZSCH TAURUS Instruments AG develop, manufacture and market state-of-the-art fire testing systems, thermal conductivity measuring devices and hotbox test stations for materials testing and quality control.
For preventive fire protection, the appropriate choice of materials and components is essential in order to prevent fires altogether or prevent them from spreading. The basis for this decision are fire tests according to German, European and international standards used to classify the flammability and the burn rate of materials for the construction, textile, automobile and electrical industry.
For the construction industry, especially the reaction to fire of building materials with the resulting parameters flammability, flame spread, flaming droplets, combustibility, heat release, calorific value, smoke production and toxicity as well as the fire resistance of building components are of relevance.
NETZSCH TAURUS Instruments also offers devices for measuring the thermal conductivity of building, construction and insulating materials.
Hotbox test chambers are used to determine the stationary heat transfer properties of complex components and finished products used for construction, such as doors, windows, profiles, domes and brickwork.
