EB 38 is Elastocon's new high temperature cell oven for stress relaxation tests of rubber, with a temperature range of +40 °C to +350 °C. Extra fans in the case ensures lower surface temperatures.
The EB 38 cell oven is specially designed for stress relaxation tests according to ISO 188 method A, ISO 3384-1 method A and B, ISO 3384-2 and other equivalent standards. It has 4 cells with individual temperatures and individual control of the air exchange rate for each cell. An adaption of the inner height of the cells to fit our relaxation rigs achieves as good thermal contact as possible with the bottom of the cell.
An intergrated polycarbonate draught hood eliminates the changes in the force during the test due to temperature changes in the environment around the upper part of the rigs. The hood has a temperature control system (Peltier cooling system) that can keep the temperature within ± 0,25 °C.
