This year we are focusing on affordable equipment for materials testing, such as tensile testers, a new moisture meter for plastics, Bareiss' new hardness tester HP Digital and reference blocks for hardness testers.

Universal testing machines

Accelerated weathering and light stability testing

We will also display the Q-SUN Xe-1 xenon chamber for accelerated weathering and light fastness testing. This tabletop xenon chamber has a single xenon arc lamp and is available with optional water spray and chiller. Its small scale is perfect for a lab with a limited budget or only an occasional need for testing.

Do you need weathering with a large test capacity?

The Q-SUN Xe-8 is the NEW standard in large capacity, rotating rack xenon arc weathering testers. In addition to its unmatched technical capabilities, the Q-SUN Xe-8 tester offers greater capacity, lower price, and significantly longer lamp life – about 8000 hours at normal irradiance – than leading competitors, which all results in low operating costs.

Hardness testers

Do you need a new hardness tester? Bareiss' new HP Digital is designed for ease of use without compromising on precision. With the HP Digital you can perform hardness measurements with Shore A and Shore D according to ISO 48-4, ISO 868 and ASTM D2240. This handheld hardness tester also works excellently together with the Bareiss stand BS 61 for measurement series and to obtain a higher accuracy.

Elastocon also offers reference blocks for hardness measurements according to Shore and IRHD, at a very good price.

Accredited testing services

If you prefer to outsource your testing, Elastocon offers accredited contract testing. Our specialties are aging tests, estimation of lifetime and testing of low temperature properties on rubber materials. We are accredited for 16 rubber testing methods.

We also offer accelerated weathering and light stability tests of products and materials on a smaller scale, as well as material analysis such as TGA, DSC and FTIR.

Accredited calibration

Elastocon Mätcentrum is the part of Elastocon AB performing calibration. We offer calibration in our calibration laboratory as well as in the field. We are ISO 9001 certified and ISO 17025 accredited for calibration.
