Cabinet oven for ISO 188 method D, EB 41

The EB 41 cabinet oven is used for accelerated ageing or heat resistance tests on vulcanized or thermoplastic rubbers according to ISO 188 method D. This is an adjusted heating cabinet, model FD 56 in the Binder FD series, with forced convection.

Elastocon measures the heating cabinet for the desired temperatures, with 9 measuring points. One temperature is included by default. Costs for additional temperatures will be added.

The cabinet must also be adjusted to maintain temperature tolerance to be verified up to +250 °C.

A certificate is included showing the temperatures that have been measured and adjusted.

Please note that ISO 188 method D is limited for short term ageing up to 168 h.

For longer tests, use ovens compatible with ISO 188 method A instead. For example, Elastocon’s cabinet oven EB 04-II meets the requirements in ISO 188 method A.
