Other sample preparation
Besides cutting presses and cutting dies Elastocon also offers other sample preparation equipment, like the conditioning box, EP 05, for conditioning of the samples in a stable environment. The Nick Cutter, EP 07, the Bizerba Slicer, and silver pens are additional sample preparation equipment.
The EP 05 conditioning box is used for temperature conditioning of the samples in a stable environment before testing, usually at 23 °C.
The EP 07 nick cutter makes the nick in test specimens for tear testing. It is available in three different configurations: for ISO 34 die B, ISO 34 die C and ASTM D624 die B.
The film and paper strip cutter is developed to cut over for instance DIN A 4 large film or paper sheets up to 12 pieces parallel strips in one processing step.
The Bizerba Slicer is used for slicing rubber products for preparation of test pieces.
