Applications and calibrations
Applications are almost limitless as the Titan XRF can measure solids, liquids, and powders wherever they are found or used. Typical applications include alloy identification and quality control, scrap metal recycling, precious metals, wear metals in oil, mining, environmental, consumer safety (for example through the RoHS directive), food safety, and agriculture. For polymers, Titan XRF can be used to control ash composition during pyrolysis of rubber or plastic materials.
The Titan XRF is adapted for different types of applications through the wide range of calibrations available for the instrument. Appropriate calibration is selected in connection with the quotation request or order.
