The ES 49 consists of a thermometer (temperature range -50°C to +220°C) and a heat block for measurements according to EN 12721 and EN 12722, for the assessment of the resistance to wet and dry heat of all rigid furniture surfaces regardless of materials, except leather and textile surfaces.

The test is intended to be carried out on a part of the finished furniture, but can be carried out on test panels of the same material, finished in an identical manner to the finished product, and of a size sufficient to meet the requirements of the test. The test should be carried out on unused surfaces.

The T-shaped thermometer is quick and easy to use, with a sturdy design and strong stainless steel probe. The casing is sealed against water and steam.
