The Binder MK 1020 is a dynamic climate chamber for rapid temperature changes. This chamber is equipped with a security package for aging or performance testing of energy storage systems (cells and modules) between -40 °C to +120 °C.

The security package includes:

• Special Operator's Guide
• Intrinsically safe temperature sensor inside the unit, which is limited to 120 °C
• Heated overpressure flap d = 150 mm with port d = 250 mm
• Enhanced door-locking mechanism with reinforced brackets
• Connections for inert gas inlet and outlet
