Reference blocks for Shore and IRHD hardness testers to ensure the metrological capability of the measuring device.
Standard rubber blocks are used to ensure the metrological capability of the measuring device according to Shore and IRHD during the frequency of recalibration. Use of the reference blocks is not equal to the official recalibration standard done by a calibration laboratory.
The rubber blocks are embedded in a holder made of stainless steel. The serial number is engraved for correct identification.
Measuring devices and reference blocks which are used for relevant tests for quality inspections or manufacturer certificate, have to be recalibrated regularly.
Up to 6 rubber blocks with hardness from 30° to 85° are delivered in a box including a calibration certificate.
The following sets of reference blocks for hardness are available:
BAREFIRHD-M – 5 blocks from 40° to 80°, calibrated for micro IRHD
BAREFIRHDN – 5 blocks from 30° to 80°, calibrated for IRHD
BAREFSHOO – 1 block, calibrated for Shore OO
BAREFSHA – 6 blocks from 30° to 80°, calibrated for Shore A
BAREFSH-D – 3 blocks from 60° to 85°, calibrated for Shore D
Note: A calibration certificate is always included.
