Model 25ST of Tinius Olsen's electromechanical universal testing machines is a bench-mounted UTM with a maximum force of 25 kN.
The model 25ST is designed for tension, compression, flexure and shear strength testing on materials and assemblies. The robust design incorporates quality materials and components and ensures superior system performance, ease of use, and longevity.
The ST series of electromechanical testing machines from Tinius Olsen is designed to test a wide range of materials, including, but not limited to: plastics, films, paper, packaging materials, filter material, adhesives, foils, food, toys, medical devices and components, in tension, compression, flexure, shear, and peel.
All ST series machines can be used with selection of hand-held interfaces or a virtual machine interface running on a connected PC. Tinius Olsen’s Horizon software can be added to your system to provide a library of standardised test routines, generate a complete graphical result of your test, and perform sophisticated powerful analyses on the test data to produce the test reports you need.
Features and benefits
- Suitable for tension, compression, flexure, shear and other tests to maximum force of 25 kN.
- Dual column design allows compact, economical and easy testing.
- Eight full-length T slots built into machine column to allow accessories to be securely mounted to the test frame.
- Built-in pneumatic distribution ports that provide local air supply to pneumatic grips.
- A variety of loadcells are available at differing capacities that give precise applied load measurements from the smallest test specimen to ones that go to full machine capacity.
- Various system interface options available, from a familiar tethered handheld interface, a wireless Bluetooth interface panel, or virtual machine controller.
- A comprehensive selection of grips and fixtures hold the simplest to most complex specimen profiles, strain measurement instruments employ different technologies, temperature chambers and more can be used in conjunction with these test frames.
