Accessories for a stress relaxation system

For a complete stress relaxation system there are other accessories also needed besides the cell ageing oven and the relaxation rigs – the amplifier box is one example.

• Amplifier box EB 02.14-x – connects the rigs to a computer for acquisition of the force and temperature data. x = number of rigs that can be connected. There are amplifier boxes available for 2, 4, 6, 8 or 12 rigs per box.

• Load cell 100 N, EB 02.03 – default for tension.

• Load cell 600 N, EB 02.17 – (samples ø 13 mm) for Shore A up to 80°, default for compression.

• Load cell 1 200 N, EB 02.18 – (samples ø 13 mm) for Shore A up to 90°, for compression.

• Load cell 2 000 N, EB 02.19 – for bigger samples or harder samples from products, for compression.

• Extension cord for load cells, EB 02.05.1 (2,5 m) – for other placement of amplifier box than directly behind the cell oven.

• Extension cord for temperature sensor, EB 02.05.2 (2,5 m) – for other placement of amplifier box than directly behind the cell oven.

• All-in-one Windows computer, ED 04 – to run the Relaxation Testing software. Including monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

• Software for stress relaxation testing of rubber, EC 05. The software evaluates results from relaxation tests according to ISO 3384 and ISO 6914. This software must be combined with a license, EC 05-x. Purchase one license per rig you want to use for testing. The price per license is decreasing after a certain quantity, available in following steps: 8, 16 and 32.

• UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), ED 06 – to eliminate disturbances from power failures up to 30 minutes. Only available for 230V, 50-60Hz, 1000 VA double conversion. The computer and the amplifier box is recommended to be connected to a UPS power back up.

• Container and pressure plate, EB 02.01 – for measurements in liquid for temperatures up to 200 °C (only for EB 02 rig).

• Air tight container and pressure plate, EB 02.01P – for measurements in liquid for pressure up to 3 bar and temperatures up to 150 °C (only for EB 02 and EB 02AP rig). A pressure gauge (EB 02.01P6) for this container is also available as an option.

• Container for testing in liquids in tension, EB 02.12 – for testing in liquids in tension up to 200 °C (only for use with EB 02TE rig).

• Compression plates, EB 02.21 – in acid proof material, (EN 1.4436).

• Test piece holder for the relaxation rig, EB 02.26 – for ageing other samples simultaneously as the relaxation test.

• Stand for 4 relaxation rigs, EB 02.23 – for secure placement on the laboratory bench. It can also be used when performing relaxation tests in ambient temperature.

• Fixture for bending test, EB 02.29 – with 3-point loading, the test fixture is developed from ISO 899-2 and enables a type of stress relaxation test for plastic materials.
